Super nice service, amazing food, and fair prices! The smashburgers are decently sized and all the shareable apps are amazing!

Dive Italian food. Small place with friendly staff and rotating menu. Lasagna was great; they serve it as an appetizer which is novel. The Piccauban was excellent although the side potatoes were a bit salty. Dessert tasted fresh and homemade.

Picone never disappoints! The specials are always worth checking out. Everything we’ve ever ordered has been delicious. And the smashed potatoes that are served as sides are amazing. My favorite restaurant.

My absolute favorite place to eat italian-american food. Pasta is great, sauces are great, they either serve you a huge chicken filet or two medium ones with your pasta plate. The lasagna is amazing.
My favorite though has to be the smash burger with their fried potatoes, WOW.
It’s hard to be in the area and justify eating elsewhere with how good this place is, to be honest I think it’s good enough to go out of your way to eat here!
They also have items they rotate through the weeks that aren’t in their menu, I would recommend following them on social media to be on top of those.
This isn’t a paid review, the place is just that good, trust.

I really don't even know how to pronounce the name of this place but you should be here right now eating 😋. I followed them on social 📱media and it's so interested in seeing the guys bring out a different entree option throughout the week. I got in here to enjoy the brisket macaroni and cheese and the smashburger with them side of potatoes. That I literally devoured before I could even get home. My only regret today is I didn't order a triple order of those potatoes. Next time I go there I definitely want to eat inside and try more options. This is instantaneously ❣️ one of my favorite places to go to in this city.

We’ve been going for about 8 months now, and have loved everything we’ve tried! He rotates some dishes and has a few constants. Tonight we started with a hamachi crudo, shared the hanger steak with Brussels sprouts for our main, and just felt like having the super crispy potatoes he makes. We brought a chicken parm with Sunday sauce home for our daughter. The food and staff are always top notch, and he’s slowly but surely making headway on the interior. They just remodeled the side dining area and it’s much improved! We will continue to support them, though this is a selfish endeavor as we love high caliber food!

First time coming to Picone and it did not disappoint!! We got the chicken parm and the chicken picatta, which were both 🔥. Portion sizes are huge! This will be 2 meals for both of us. Heads up, this place is BYOB. This was a nice little hidden gem. Will definitely be back!

Tried this place after hearing rave reviews. The food and service were spectacular. It’s got a dive bar feel with world class food. It’s the perfect combo for someone like me. We got the Smashburger which was one of the best we’ve had ever plus the chicken parm with Alfredo was so delicious and perfect. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back

I finally managed to check out Picone after hearing all the buzz, and I can completely understand why people call it their favorite spot for Italian-American comfort food. The high praise for the menu is mostly spot-on, though the space is definitely on the smaller side. The service, however, is excellent—warm, quick, and attentive, making the dining experience fantastic.
The true star of the show has to be the Garfield Lasagna; it’s rich, huge, and truly deserving of the hype. Equally impressive were the crispy potatoes. Whether they’re served smashed or fried, they are outstanding and I wish the kitchen would bottle that seasoning or white drizzle. For classic Italian, the pasta dishes are generous, often coming with a hefty portion of chicken, making it a reliable choice.
The highly-lauded Smashburger was solid, but maybe not quite the "WOW" experience others described. It’s certainly a great burger, but given how incredible the lasagna and the specials are (which are always worth checking out), I’d lean towards their pasta or following their social media for the rotating non-menu dishes. This place is absolutely worth a detour if you’re craving top-tier comfort food.
